WOD: Death by Deficit Push Ups… 45#/35#

0:00-1:00 Perform 1 push ups, 1:00-2:00 perform 2 Push Ups, 2:00-3:00 perform 3 push ups… etc, etc until you do not complete that round.

Alex, believe it or not most people only make it to 10 minutes… and 10 minutes is only 55 push ups… 11=66, 12=78, 13=91, 14=105, 15=120 etc… the point is to go to failure in 1 minute, you only have 1 minute to complete the prescribed reps until the next round stops, if you don’t make it you fail… so its not really to failure as in pushing your system to the max until you cant get up anymore on your own, that my friend would be unsafe. This, totally safe and a great training workout, although it shouldn’t be done everyday as a routine because that too would be unsafe and ineffective.
