The Struggle: WOD 23MAY14

“The Struggle”

As summer approaches and the days grow longer we find ourselves with more and more activities to do, appointments to attend, and deadlines to meet.  During this time it is super important to remember that we need to take that “ME TIME”, which is what I like to refer to as the time that I get to do whatever the fuck I want.  If I want to sit on the couch and drink a beer…BOOM! done… it’s my ME TIME.  Having this time to ourselves allows us to kinda let our minds reset, recharge, and re-energize for the upcoming tasks at hand.  Sometimes we find that we are getting beat down from training or life in general, its always good to have that reset in your back pocket, that plan of action to attack it so that you can still steadily improve your quality of life.  Just a small tid bit I wanted to share with you all so that when you find yourself in that corner, remember, there is light on the other side and all you need to do is find those one or two things that make you happy and always remember to pursue them.  Our training here is only as valuable as our mind is when its healthy, stress does not allow us to train our minds or bodies effectively.

With a partner (In handstand position stomach facing the wall, touch your chest/thigh with your hands alternating, clock only runs while you are performing movement)

C) “Play Ball”
