The core stability that we all talk about, its much more than just your core. It encompasses your glutes, lower lumbar, and your core. We need to practice and ensure that each and every aspect of our trunk and core are engaged when performing movements both with and without load. It becomes increasingly important as we add load to our lifts and attempt to hit new PR’s. The added weight creates added stress, the less engaged our core and trunk are the more likely we are to self inflict an injury.
